I’m not sure what this tree is, but it’s autumn fruits are amazing – the dark red is like a tri-corn hat – and the orange drop in the centre is almost flourescent.

Amazingly beautiful!
Thanks, Carolyn. I was astounded at the colours.
Hi Kathi, We have some in our garden, it is a shrub anciently used to make items for the loom and for lace making. http://shop.theplantattraction.com/Euonymus-Europaea-Tree-or-Shrub-15-Seeds-S-Euonymus-Europaea-15.htm Hope all is well with you and that you are excited with the bee. I have now a lot of mail in my box, about it, it is fun. Love, corinne

Thanks, Corinne. I will look it up.
Corinne – thanks for the lead. I found this variety under the name Euonymus Sachalinensis.
Forgot to add, we call it fusain in French. XO corinne
